Civil servants (titulaires) and contract staff can apply. A medical fitness certificate for overseas posting is required before the move.
Category: Category B (intermediate)
The profile they look for:
- Be able to manage a project and organise your work.
- Know construction projects and the working environment.
- Be able to apply regulations and analyse files.
- Be able to explain technical topics to non-specialist elected officials.
- Have good people skills and be able to adapt.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

Apply online on the employer's site with a complete application. Only complete applications submitted online will be accepted.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Travel to the archipelagos, sometimes on weekends, with basic transport and accommodation.
- The post is based in Papeete, Tahiti.
- The post requires autonomy, rigour and availability in urgent situations.
- Minimum 30-day publication period, from 23/10 to 22/11/2026.
