Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A contract worker can be hired if no civil servant application succeeds. The entry-level category C grade allows direct hiring without a competitive exam.
Category: Category C (staff)
The profile they look for:
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques for buildings and outdoor areas.
- Knowledge of hygiene, safety and waste management rules.
- Basic building maintenance skills.
- Physically fit to handle furniture and machines.
- Public service mindset, team spirit and good people skills.
- Driving licence B required.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.

- Position vacant from 1 January 2027.
- Category C job (adjoint technique grade).
