Diploma: Bac+5 with a Data Science specialisation (or 5 years of technical experience in machine learning)

Experience: 5 years of experience in technical fields linked to machine learning, as an alternative to bac+5

The profile they look for:

  • Bac+5 with a Data Science specialisation, or 5 years of experience in machine learning.
  • Ability to evaluate, train, optimise and deploy models.
  • Strong mathematics for machine learning (algorithms, optimisation, statistics).
  • Knowledge of development, containers and industrialisation of Data Science systems.
  • Teamwork, organisation and good interpersonal skills.
2 Résumé and cover letter

A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.

4 Interview and answer

If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.

Good to know:

  • « Very secret » security clearance must be obtained before starting the job.
  • No remote work possible. Working time of 40h30 per week with 54 days off.
  • Regular trips to headquarters (Centrale) to work with the other Data Science teams.
