Diploma: Bac+2 in physics-chemistry, mathematics or engineering sciences
Experience: Beginners accepted
The profile they look for:
- At least bac+2 in physics-chemistry, mathematics or engineering sciences.
- Good command of the French language.
- Ability to prepare engaging lessons suited to students' level.
- Ability to manage a class and a positive learning environment.
- Enthusiasm, natural authority, flexibility and intellectual curiosity.
- Clean criminal record, with no entries.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Maximum of 18 teaching hours per week in front of students.
- Part-time or full-time job, in a middle school or high school.
- Remote work not possible.
- You work under the head of the school and the subject inspector.
