Open only to contract agents, so people who are not civil servants can apply. You need a criminal record compatible with teaching and, for foreign candidates, a valid residence permit with a work permit if from outside the EU.
Category: Category A (executive)
Diploma: Master or equivalent degree in economics and management
Experience: Beginners accepted
The profile they look for:
- Bachelor's or master's degree (M1 or M2) in economics and management.
- Good listening skills and enjoyment of teaching.
- Independent, organised and open to dialogue.
- Good communication, leadership and teamwork skills.
- Experience in the service sector is highly valued.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- For the 2026 school year, selected candidates join a pool of contract teachers.
- Full-time load: 18 hours of classes per week in front of pupils or students.
- Remote work not possible.
