Category: Category A (executive)
Diploma: MEEF master, licence in modern literature, licence in education sciences, or licence in literature and arts or literature and languages.
Experience: Beginners accepted.
The profile they look for:
- Master the subject knowledge in modern literature and how to teach it.
- Master spoken and written French.
- Be able to manage a class and lead a group.
- Work independently and adapt easily.
- Master digital tools.
- Have a criminal record without mention.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Maximum of 18 teaching hours per week in front of pupils.
- Selection based on CV, cover letter and diplomas, then an interview.
- Works under the head of the school and the subject inspector.
- Remote work not possible.
