- Have a few years of teaching experience.
- Know well the skills framework for teaching and education jobs.
- Take part in ongoing professional training.
- Show rigour, discretion and respect for the military organisation.
- Practical knowledge of cognitive sciences is much appreciated.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.

- The post may become vacant from 1 September 2027.
- Taking part in ceremonies and key events of the school year is strongly encouraged.
- Regular contact with the military staff who supervise pupils outside class time.
