Open only to titular school leaders of institutions under the national education ministry. Experience in priority education is expected.
Category: Category A+ (senior management)
Diploma: Master's degree or equivalent
Experience: Experience in priority education
The profile they look for:
- Know the issues of priority education.
- Be able to unite and support teams.
- Show authority, rigour and independence.
- Have good listening and communication skills.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: November 3 (Closes in 2 days)
Apply on the employer's website linked from the official offer. Also send your file to the DASEN of your department and to the rectorate by email.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- A stay of 4 to 6 years is preferred.
- Remote work is not possible.
- Housing type stated: F5.
- For files sent to the DASEN and the rectorate, a 30 November 2026 deadline is given, in addition to 3 November 2026.
