What you would do

  • Optimise laser writing of Bragg gratings in two refractory fibres.
  • Characterise the fibres: spectra, losses, birefringence and residual stress.
  • Run accelerated ageing and thermal cycles between 1000 and 1500 °C.
  • Build and calibrate two prototypes, then compare them with commercial sensors.
  • Analyse results and contribute to publications and technology transfer with the SATT.
