Experience: Significant experience in a municipal police service is wanted.
The profile they look for:
- Be a successful candidate of the exam or have proven experience in a similar job.
- Good knowledge of mayoral police powers and traffic rules.
- Good listening skills, diplomacy and ability to resolve conflicts.
- Good physical fitness for foot patrols and mountain bike patrols.
- Hold a French category B driving licence.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.

4 Interview and answer
