Civil servants (titulaires) and contract workers can apply. A person who did not pass a civil service competition can be hired, because the entry grade in category C allows direct recruitment.
Category: Category C (staff)
Experience: Experienced level
The profile they look for:
- Real skills in plumbing.
- Experience in the civil service is ideal.
- Versatile, with a sense of public service.
- Team spirit, follows instructions and meets deadlines.
- Basic computer skills (Excel, Word, ATAL).
- Driving licence category B.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

Apply on the employer's website, or send your CV and cover letter by email to the town's recruitment service.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
