Civil servants (titulaires) and contract staff can apply. No competitive exam is needed, because the adjoint technique grade allows direct hiring.
Category: Category C (staff)
The profile they look for:
- Skills in plumbing and heating techniques.
- Basic knowledge of electrics, joinery, locksmithing and masonry.
- Knowledge of safety and warning sign rules.
- Ability to read plans and technical documents.
- Independence, rigour and sense of responsibility.
- Public service mindset and good people skills.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
