Civil servants (titulaires) and contract staff can apply. Civil servants must include the opinion of their line manager.
Category: Category C (staff)
The profile they look for:
- Expert level in plumbing.
- Reading plans and diagrams.
- Ability to organise work and analyse problems.
- Ability to work in a team and adapt.
- Operating a machine that needs a certification (to be acquired).
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: December 31 (Closes in 63 days)
Apply on the employer's website, starting from the offer on Choisir le Service Public. Attach the requested mobility form.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Temporary mobility allowance (ITM) for civil servants.
- Category B driving licence required.
- 38 hours a week, 27 days of annual leave and 16 RTT days.
- Duty shifts and on-call duty possible. Remote work not possible.
