Civil servants (titulaires) and contract agents can apply. A civil servant must have the form approved by their line manager.
Category: Category C (staff)
Diploma: Vocational baccalaureate or CAP/BEP in plumbing, sanitary and heating installation
Experience: At least 2 years
The profile they look for:
- BAC pro or CAP/BEP in plumbing, sanitary and heating installation.
- At least 2 years of experience.
- Good skill in repairing copper, multilayer and PER pipes, with soldering.
- Ability to read plans and diagrams.
- Able to work in a team and adapt.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Driving licence category B required.
- 38 hours a week, 27 days of annual leave and 16 days of RTT.
- Temporary mobility allowance for civil servants.
- On-call duty possible for building maintenance. No remote work.
