Civil servants (by transfer or secondment) and contract staff can apply. A person who has not passed a competition can be hired, because the job is open at entry-level grades of category C.
Category: Category C (staff)
The profile they look for:
- Knowledge of how a wood-fired boiler works and how to maintain it.
- Skills in installing heating and plumbing systems.
- Knowledge of hydraulics and control systems.
- Ability to diagnose a fault and its cause.
- Knowledge of hygiene rules related to Legionella.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: November 30 (Closes in 32 days)
Send your application by email to the human resources department of Territoires Vendômois before the deadline. The offer is on the Choisir le Service Public website.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- On-call technical duty.
- Driving licence B required.
- Electrical authorisation and gas welding licence are a plus.
- Position to be filled as soon as possible.
