Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service exam can be hired directly, because the grade is an entry grade in category C.
Category: Category C (staff)
The profile they look for:
- Knowledge of public accounting, including cash collection accounts.
- Basic knowledge of law and planning, including use of public land.
- Good computer skills.
- Driving licence category B.
- Rigour and integrity.
- People skills and ability to handle difficult users of the service.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

Apply on the employer's website, from the official offer page. Address your application to the Mayor.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Driving licence category B required.
- One day per week: collecting parking meter cash with a technician.
- Position vacant from 1 January 2027.
- Category C, entry grade.
