Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service competition can be hired, because the entry grade in category C allows direct recruitment.
Category: Category C (staff)
The profile they look for:
- Able to manage a cash box (régie).
- Knowledge of conflict management and rules for non-fixed trade.
- Strong people skills.
- Organised, independent, rigorous and discreet.
- Able to enforce rules and report problems in writing.
- Knowledge of market management software.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: November 11 (Closes in 10 days)
Apply on the employer's website or on the official offer page. You must send a cover letter and a CV to the town hall.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Works Sundays, from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m., outdoors and standing.
- Must wear a « placier » armband.
- Good physical fitness recommended.
- Post to be filled as soon as possible. Six-monthly Sunday rota.
