Civil servants and contract workers can apply. A person without a civil service exam can be hired directly, because the job is open at entry-level grades of category C.

The profile they look for:
- Knowledge of the municipal building stock
- Car driving licence (permis VL)
- Follows health and safety rules and wears protective equipment
- Required certifications gained through training
- Works independently, with rigour and a sense of responsibility
- Able to work in a team
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
