Civil servants (titulaires) and contract staff can apply. This entry-level category C post allows direct hiring without a competitive exam.
Category: Category C (staff)
Diploma: CAP or BEP (level 3)
The profile they look for:
- CAP or BEP required (level 3).
- Driving licence B essential.
- Master basic repair and painting techniques.
- Plan and organise your work.
- Take initiative in urgent cases.
- Be strong enough to carry heavy loads.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Category C post.
- No remote work possible.
- Works Tuesday to Saturday, in the morning. Not worked on Monday.
- Taking part in on-call duty (astreintes).
