Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person who did not pass a competition can be hired directly for a category C grade. Recognised disabled workers can also access the job by contract.
Category: Category C (staff)
Diploma: CAP or BEP in painting or building coverings for public bodies
The profile they look for:
- Master painting and covering techniques.
- Be able to diagnose problems on surfaces.
- Know hygiene, safety rules and technical standards.
- Be able to write estimates and drawings.
- Organise your work from a schedule and instructions.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: December 31 (Closes in 60 days)
Send one PDF file to the Region's employment service, by email or by post, as stated on the official offer. The file must be complete or it will be considered incomplete.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Based in Toulouse, with daily travel.
- Work inside and outside buildings, in occupied sites.
- Driving licence B required.
- Possible certifications: electrical, working at height, CACES depending on machines.
