Civil servants (titulaires) and contract agents can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service competition can be hired, as the post is open to the entry grade of category C.
Category: Category C (staff)
Experience: Beginners accepted. Similar experience is strongly preferred.
The profile they look for:
- High availability, as the car park runs 24/7.
- Enjoys contact with the public.
- Works on their own and can adapt to any situation.
- Similar experience strongly preferred.
- Electrical authorisation and/or SSIAP 1 ideally.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Rota in 6-4 pattern: 2 mornings, 2 afternoons, 2 nights, 4 days off.
- You may occasionally be sent to other car parks run by the department.
- Remote work not possible.
- No management responsibilities.
