Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service exam can be hired directly, because the grade offered is an entry grade in category C.

Experience: Experienced candidate required
The profile they look for:
- Know food products, how to store them and how to reheat them
- Know cooking methods such as fryer and oven
- Follow strict hygiene and safety rules (HACCP)
- Master cleaning techniques
- Follow oral or written instructions
- Work independently, carefully, discreetly and on time
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
