Civil servants and contract workers. A person who has not passed a civil service exam can be hired, because the grade offered is an entry grade in category C.
Category: Category C (staff)
Diploma: CAP, BEP or vocational bac in building, maintenance, electricity or plumbing, or equivalent
Experience: Experienced. Similar job in a local authority or the building sector is wanted
The profile they look for:
- CAP, BEP or vocational bac in building, maintenance, electricity or plumbing.
- Solid technical skills in general building maintenance.
- Knowledge of electricity, plumbing, heating and ventilation.
- Driving licence B required.
- Able to work alone and in a team.
- Sense of public service and good contact with residents.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.

4 Interview and answer
