Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person who has not passed a competitive exam can be hired directly, as the adjoint technique grade is an entry grade in category C.

Diploma: Level V: CAP, BEP or equivalent
Experience: Experienced
The profile they look for:
- Level V qualification (CAP, BEP or equivalent)
- Driving licence B required; PL licence preferred
- Knows safety rules and health standards
- Can read plans, diagrams and technical manuals
- Works independently, can lift loads, is punctual
- Can report on work orally and in writing
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
