Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service competition can be hired directly, because the grade is an entry grade in category C. A driving licence B is required.

Diploma: Level V certificate or diploma (CAP, BEP or equivalent)
Experience: Experienced
The profile they look for:
- Know the basic skills of several building trades
- Know and follow workplace safety rules
- Read plans, diagrams and technical manuals
- Plan and organise your own work
- Be able to carry heavy loads
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
