Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service exam can be hired directly, because the grade is an entry-level category C grade.
Category: Category C (staff)
Diploma: BEP or vocational bac in building trades
Experience: Beginners accepted
The profile they look for:
- BEP or vocational bac in building trades required
- Driving licence B required, PL licence preferred
- Valid electrical safety certifications
- Knowledge of maintenance and building work
- Independence, rigour and versatility
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
