Civil servants and contract workers can apply. The job is open to the agent de maîtrise and agent de maîtrise principal grades. A contract worker can be hired if no civil servant has applied.

Diploma: Level V diploma or certificate, such as a CAP
Experience: Experience in the building sector is appreciated.

- A level V diploma or certificate, such as a CAP.
- Driving licence B essential; PL licence preferred.
- Know workplace safety rules and health standards.
- Read and understand plans, diagrams and technical manuals.
- Plan and organise your own work with autonomy.
- Be physically fit enough to carry loads.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
