Civil servants and contract staff can apply. The job is in the manual workers' corps of the hospital civil service, category C.
Category: Category C (staff)
The profile they look for:
- Driving licence category B required.
- Electrical authorisation (habilitation électrique) is preferred.
- Varied technical skills in maintenance and upkeep.
- Know and follow safety and repair procedures.
- Versatile, organised and able to work on your own.
- Good people skills and a team spirit.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Frequent travel with a pool vehicle.
- Night on-call shifts from 6 pm to 8:15 am, depending on the rota.
- 25 days of annual leave and 12 days of RTT, for 37 hours a week.
- Remote work is not possible.
