Civil servants (titulaires) and contract staff can apply. A person without a civil service competitive exam can be hired directly, because the grade is an entry grade in category C.

2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Full-time, 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday until midday
- Work possible on weekends, public holidays and at night, depending on needs
- Possible technical on-call duty, one week in six
- Snow clearing and gritting in winter
