Civil servants (titulaires) and contract staff can apply. A person without a civil service exam can be hired directly, as the grade is an entry grade in category C.

The profile they look for:
- Master driving construction machines.
- Know the operating and safety rules.
- Master road and earthworks techniques.
- Know how to set up temporary site protection and signs.
- Know health and safety regulations.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.

- Sometimes works weekends, public holidays and shifted hours.
- Driving licence B and BE required.
- CACES R482 categories A, C1, E and F required.
- Remote work not possible.
