Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service competition can be hired, because the grade is an entry grade in category C (adjoint technique).
Category: Category C (staff)
Diploma: CAP or BEP (level 3), electrician specialty
The profile they look for:
- CAP or BEP level.
- Electrician specialty stated in the offer.
- Driving licence category B required.
- Know the safety and upkeep rules.
- Know how to use basic building and gardening tools.
- Work well in a team.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Working hours Monday to Friday, with compulsory presence during school hours.
- Driving licence category B required.
