Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service exam can be hired, because the adjoint technique grade is an entry grade in category C.

The profile they look for:
- Experience in a similar job or in security work is a plus.
- Discretion, respect for professional ethics and a sense of public service.
- Good observation skills, rigour and analytical mind.
- Reliability, availability and commitment.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Shifted hours, with the end of the day starting at the beginning of the night.
- The job gives the status of street surveillance agent (ASVP), with swearing-in.
- Position vacant from 1 December 2026.
