Civil servants and contract agents can apply. A person who has not passed a competitive exam can be hired directly, because the grade is an entry grade in category C.
Category: Category C (staff)
Experience: Experienced; similar experience required.

- Similar experience required.
- Knowledge of local government and the public served.
- Computer skills and ability to learn specific software.
- Strong sense of public service and excellent presentation.
- Rigour, autonomy and discretion.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.

- Category C post, remote work not possible.
- The post is expected to become a head of department role.
