Category: Category B (intermediate)
Diploma: State diploma or equivalent, including the DUMI
The profile they look for:
- State diploma (Diplôme d'État) or DUMI, or equivalent
- Knowledge of music teaching in schools
- Skills in conducting orchestras and children's choirs
- Mastery of one instrument, performing musician experience
- Organisation skills and teamwork
- Good people skills, autonomy and adaptability
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
