Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person who did not pass a civil service exam can be hired directly, because the entry grade in category C allows it.
Category: Category C (staff)
Experience: 2 to 5 years wanted, in removals, transport or logistics.
The profile they look for:
- Be skilled with cranes, aerial platforms and forklifts, or ready to be trained.
- Be able to read assembly plans and site plans.
- Work well in a team and organise your work.
- Care about safety and risk prevention.
- Ideally hold a B and C driving licence.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Continuous day shift from 7:00 to 14:30, 37.5 hours a week Monday to Friday, plus 15 RTT days.
- Frequent overtime in the evening, at night, on weekends and public holidays.
- Carrying heavy loads and working at height.
