Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service competition can be hired directly, because the entry grade in category C allows it.
Category: Category C (staff)
Diploma: CAP joiner certificate (or equivalent significant experience)
The profile they look for:
- CAP joiner certificate required, or equivalent significant experience.
- Know drawing, calculation and geometry rules.
- Be skilled with machine tools and portable power tools.
- Know how to join, fix and glue wood, aluminium and glass.
- Know and apply safety standards.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: October 31 (Closes in 3 days)
Apply on the employer's website, or send your cover letter and CV by email to the town's recruitment service. You can also write by post to the town hall.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.

- Category C job, adjoint technique grade.
- Benefits: 25 days of paid leave, 15 RTT days, meal vouchers and 75% of public transport costs covered.
