Civil servants (titulaires) and contract staff can apply. A person who has not passed a competitive exam can be hired directly, because the entry grade in category C allows it.
Category: Category C (staff)
Diploma: Bac+3 in culture, tourism, cultural mediation or a related cultural-animation field
Experience: Confirmed experience, including in audience mediation
The profile they look for:
- Bac+3 in culture, tourism or cultural mediation, or an equivalent course.
- Experience in mediation with varied audiences.
- Ability to adapt to groups, individuals and people with disabilities.
- Good speaking skills and active listening.
- Autonomy, versatility and initiative.
- English and Spanish are a plus.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: December 1 (Closes in 31 days)
Send a CV and a cover letter by email to the town hall, or by post to the Mairie de Mézin.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.

- Category C job (employee).
- Remote work is not possible.
- The job is vacant from 01/01/2027.
