Diploma: State medical doctorate (Diplôme d'État de docteur en médecine) and the diploma required for the specialty
The profile they look for:
- Registered with the National Council of the Medical Order (Ordre des médecins).
- State medical doctorate (Diplôme d'État de docteur en médecine).
- Diploma required for the specialty practised.
- Skills in emergency procedures: intubation, ventilation, sutures.
- Contract physician or hospital practitioner status.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

Send your application by email to the hospital's medical affairs department, as stated on the official offer.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Full-time job, to be filled as soon as possible.
- Part-time work possible, according to the offer.
- No remote work.
- Regular training and social benefits (CGOS).
