Diploma: State diploma of Doctor of Medicine
The profile they look for:
- Hold the State diploma of Doctor of Medicine (required).
- Know child health problems from medical, legal and regulatory angles.
- Be able to analyse, write and summarise.
- Be skilled in interview techniques.
- Be organised, a team player and quick to react.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Fixed hours of 39 hours per week; part-time or non-full-time work possible.
- Holding a second job (cumul d'activité) is possible.
- 49 days of leave per year (annual leave + RTT) for 39 hours.
- Meal vouchers (tickets restaurant).
