Civil servants can apply by transfer, secondment or on the suitability list, for the grades of Médecin 1st class, 2nd class or hors-classe. Contract workers can also apply, while waiting for a civil servant to be recruited.

- Ability to run individual and collective prevention actions
- Ability to make a medical diagnosis and refer patients appropriately
- Ability to organise own work and manage priorities
- Knowledge of the laws and rules for this profession
- Ability to write and present clear documents
- Ability to work as part of a team
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
