Open to civil servants (titulaires) and contract staff. A civil servant must have their line manager's opinion on the mobility form.
Category: Category C (staff)
The profile they look for:
- Good knowledge of the vehicle repair work environment.
- Able to find a fault using a diagnostic tool.
- Able to work in a team.
- Able to organise your work.
- Able to summarise information clearly.
- Able to adapt.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: December 31 (Closes in 63 days)
Apply on the employer's website, attaching the Interior Ministry mobility form. You can also contact the operational support office in Rennes.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Remote work not possible.
- Category C.
- On-call duty or paid overtime possible, and occasional work outside usual hours in exceptional events.
- Electric and hybrid vehicle authorisation required; CACES lifting certification possible.
