Category: Category C (staff)
The profile they look for:
- Know the techniques for vehicle maintenance and repair (mastery level).
- Know workplace health and safety rules.
- Have computer and office software skills.
- Be able to work in a team and organise your work.
- Be able to analyse, and show rigour and method.
- Be able to adapt and communicate.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Working week of 37 to 39 hours, with RTT days off.
- A category B driving licence is strongly recommended.
- Remote work is not possible.
- The post is vacant from 1 December 2026.
