Civil servants (by secondment or transfer) and contract staff can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service exam can be hired directly, because the entry grade of category C allows it.

Diploma: CAP or BEP in mechanics
The profile they look for:
- CAP or BEP in mechanics.
- Theoretical knowledge of mechanics.
- Organised and rigorous.
- Quick to react.
- Good interpersonal skills and a sense of responsibility.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Driving licence B required, licence C is a plus.
- Meal vouchers of 7 € per working day, with employer contribution of at least 50%.
- Employer contributes to health insurance and income protection.
