Civil servants and contract agents can apply. The post is open to the grades of adjoint technique, adjoint technique principal and agent de maîtrise. A person who has not passed a competitive exam can be hired directly.
Category: Category C (staff)
The profile they look for:
- Car or truck driving licence (VL/PL) related to vehicle maintenance.
- Knowledge of general mechanics and mechanical systems.
- Use of computer or mechanical diagnostic tools.
- Respect for hierarchy and teamwork.
- Rigour, organisation and autonomy.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
