Open to civil servants and contract workers. A person who has not passed a civil service exam can be hired directly, because the entry grade is category C.
Category: Category C (staff)
The profile they look for:
- Knowledge of mechanics, hydraulics, electricity, electronics and welding.
- Able to work in a team and report regularly to a manager.
- Follow workshop safety rules.
- Able to use computer tools.
- Rigorous, available and motivated.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Driving licence B required, licence C if possible.
- Personal protective equipment is mandatory.
- On-call duty possible, including winter road maintenance.
- Full-time job, 39 hours per week.
