Open to civil servants and contract staff. Direct hiring without a competitive exam is possible, because the grade offered is an entry grade in category C.
Category: Category C (staff)
Diploma: CAP/BEP or BAC pro in heavy vehicle or agricultural mechanics, with knowledge of hydraulics and automotive electrics
The profile they look for:
- Experience or knowledge in mechanics, hydraulics and electrics (heavy vehicles or agricultural)
- Be independent, rigorous and organised
- Be able to set priorities based on urgency
- Be ready to travel between depots and sites
- Have basic computer skills for reporting
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Outdoor work, with regular travel and work at height
- Technical on-call week one week in five, all year round
- 5 days of leave maximum during the summer period
- Heavy goods driving licence, CACES lifting crane and electrical authorisations are highly valued
