Civil servants and contract staff can apply. Direct hiring without a competitive exam is possible, because the grade is an entry grade in category C.
Category: Category C (staff)
Diploma: CAP/BEP or BAC pro in heavy vehicle or agricultural mechanics
The profile they look for:
- Knowledge of mechanics, hydraulics and electrics (heavy vehicles or agricultural).
- Be independent, rigorous and organised.
- Be able to prioritise work based on urgency.
- Regular travel between depots and field sites.
- Computer skills for regular reporting.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: November 14 (Closes in 15 days)

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Full-time post.
- Heavy goods driving licence, CACES lifting crane and electrical authorisations (BS minimum) highly valued.
- Regular travel between depots.
