Civil servants and contract staff can apply. Contract staff can only be hired if no civil servant application has succeeded.
Category: Category C (staff)
The profile they look for:
- Knowledge of engines, brakes, hydraulics and pneumatics.
- Knowledge of electrical, electronic and air conditioning systems.
- Reading plans and diagrams.
- Using measuring, lifting and adjusting equipment.
- Team spirit.
- Following safety rules.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

Apply on the employer's website. Also send your CV and cover letter by email to the human resources department.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
