Permanent Adjoints techniques, or contract staff with a CAP or BEP. A person who has not passed a competitive exam can be hired directly at this entry grade.

Diploma: CAP or BEP vocational diploma
The profile they look for:
- Knowledge of two and four stroke, diesel and garden engine mechanics.
- Skills in car and scooter electrics.
- Adjusting and restoring engines and mechanical parts.
- Rigour, autonomy and a sense of public service.
- Strict respect of health and safety rules.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
