Civil servants (permanent) and contract staff can apply. A contract worker can be hired if no civil servant has applied. A person without a competitive exam can be hired at an entry grade of category C.
Category: Category C (staff)
Diploma: CAP or BEP in maintenance wanted, or any qualification related to the job.
Experience: Experienced. Experience in mechanics and repair of small equipment is an advantage.

- Good people skills with the public and partners.
- Initiative and quick response to needs.
- Driving licence category B required.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

Send your cover letter and CV before the deadline, by post or by email to the town hall. You can also apply on the employer's website.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Remote work not possible.
- Category B driving licence required; categories C, CE or others may be an advantage.
- Job vacant from 1 January 2027.
